What is an apostille and how can it be obtained?
Apostille is the name of the authentication system that proves that the documents are real and official, and that makes the document valid in another country. The authorities concerned with certifying the apostille in Turkey are divided into two types. The authority concerned with certifying the apostille for administrative documents is the office of the governor, who is the qa’im maqam. As for the authorities concerned with certifying legal documents, they are the presidency of the Judicial Judiciary Authority of the Criminal Court.
